A Mini-Olympics event for Senior Citizens of the Municipality of Bauang was held last August 8, 2024 at the Bauang North Central School (BNCS) Sports Complex. It was headed by Municipal Mayor Eulogio Clarence Martin P. De Guzman III. Present were Sangguniang Bayan Members (SBM) Hon. Myrna U, Ligas, Member of Committee on Social Welfare & Development, Women and Family Welfare and Responsible Parenthood, and Senior Citizen, Hon. Tanya Roberta A. De Guzman, Chairperson of the same Committee, and Municipal Administrator Ms. Daisy A. Sayangda, and Ms. Loida Costales, Municipal Budget Officer.
The event was organized by the Office of the Senior Citizen’s Affairs (OSCA) under the Municipal Mayors Office.
The games were the following:
- 200-meter dash
- chess
- arm wrestling
- Message Relay
- TikTok
- Zumba
The winners in the different categories will be representing Bauang at the Province level.
