The Municipal Administrator’s Office (MAO), led by Mr. James Andrew L. Patacsil, OIC-Administrator for Internal Management and Municipal Accountant, hosted the final Flag-Raising Ceremony of the Municipality of Bauang for March 2025. Held at the Bauang North Central School (BNCS) Sports Complex, it had the theme, “Transparency,” which was expounded by Mr. Bonnie M. Pedralvez, In-Charge of Office for MAO.

“The Psalmist teaches us that to be transparent before men is first to be transparent before God,” shared Mr. Pedralvez in his message.

Among the MAO’s accomplishments in their report was the deployment of Seasonal Workers to the Republic of South Korea, an achievement spearheaded by Municipal Mayor Eulogio Clarence Martin P. De Guzman III and focal head Mr. Pedralvez, bringing Bauang at the pedestal of international relations serving agriculture and employment.

In the event, the blood donors from the recent blood donation activity conducted by the Rural Health Unit (RHU) on March 25, 2025 were recognized.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) presented an award of recognition to participating departments in their Fire Prevention Activities including the Exhibition on March 13, 2025 at the BNCS and the Tree-Planting Activity on March 26, 2025. Particularly, the departments were the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), led by Ms. Arlie R. Alonzo, and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), led by Mr. Marc Alvin T. Garcia.

Ms. Marlita G. Biason, head for the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), announced that March 31 is also the celebration for Women with Disabilities Day, observed annually on the last Monday of March, as declared by Proclamation No. 744.

Ms. Clarissa Patacsil of the MAO announced that the updated Citizen’s Charter (a document outlining a government agency’s services) of each department, is due on the same day.
