The Flag-Raising Ceremony of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of the Municipality of Bauang, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Eulogio Clarence Martin P. De Guzman III, was held on February 24, 2025, the final Monday of February, at the Bauang North Central School (BNCS) Sports Complex.

The Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD), headed by Ms. Arlie R. Renon, hosted the Ceremony. Ms. Jaecelle Rimando served as the Master of the Ceremony. Mr. Jovan P. Lanang discussed about “Purity,” the Public Service Value for this week.

“Don’t go down to their level by throing back their stones, but throw them your fruits so that the seeds of your harvest may inspire them to change their ways.”

In their Accomplishment Report, the MSWDO included the conduct of Municipal Children’s Month, Provincial Children’s Month, and Camp Bulilit last December 22, 2024.

Hon. Henry A. Bacurnay, Jr, Municipal Vice Mayor, in his message, spoke about the upcoming EDSA or People Power Revolution in 1986. He shared that the Revolution was so successful that other countries were inspired by it, namely: Indonesia, China, and the Fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany. The 39th Anniversary of the “Bloodless Revolution” will be commemorated tomorrow, Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
