In a significant move to enhance employment opportunities and strengthen workforce collaboration, LGU-Bauang has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jeongseon County, on February 10, 2025, to facilitate the recruitment and deployment of seasonal workers.

The agreement, signed by Mayor Martin De Guzman III and Mayor Choi Seung Jun aims to establish a structured framework for the hiring and management of seasonal labor in agriculture.

Jeongson County has been impressed with the performance and dedication of all the seasonal workers deployed in Taebaek, South Korea. The Jeongson County decided to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with Municipality of Bauang which pertains to a Seasonal Agricultural Sector Development Exchange Program.

This will give better opportunities to Bauangeños in the agriculture sector. The initial deployment of seasonal workers will be this year.
