A Classroom Turnover Ceremony was conducted last September 25, 2024 at the Payocpoc Elementary School, headed by Municipal Mayor Eulogio Clarence Martin P. De Guzman III, represented by Administrator for Operations Mr. Wilson Samuel C. Caluza. The classrooms were donated by the 1590 Energy Corporation and Vivant Foundation, Inc.

Also in attendance were Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) Department Head Mr. Marc Alvin Garcia, faculty and students of the Elementary School, and representatives from the generous donors 1590 and Vivant.

The 1590 Energy Corporation, a diesel-powered energy supplier, is located in Barangay Payocpoc Sur. Vivant Foundation is the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Vivant Corporation, a private holding company with interests in the power and infrastructure sector. Vivant’s head office is located in Mandaue City, Cebu. Vivant currently owns 53% of the 1590 Energy Corporation.
