The Provincial Mini-Olympics was held at the La Union Convention Center last August 20, 2024. It was attended by the delegates from the Mini-Olympics of the Municipality of Bauang which was held last August 8, 2024 at the Bauang North Central School (BNCS) Sports Complex. The delegates from Bauang bagged the Overall Championship Award.

Present during the said event were officials from the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), specifically Governor Raphaelle Veronica A. Ortega-David’s Executive Assistant in the person of Mr. Justo “Tito” Orros III and Vice Governor Mario Eduardo C. Ortega. Also in attendance were officials from the Municipality of Bauang, namely, Hon. Tanya Roberta A. De Guzman, Sangguniang Bayan Member (SBM) and Chairperson for the Committee on Senior Citizens; Mr. Lorenzo C. Agustin, Head for the Office of the Senior Citizens’ Affairs (OSCA); Mr. Ernesto Novellero, Jr., President for Senior Citizens Federation of Bauang, and other Municipal employees.

The following were the categories won by our Senior Citizens:
Tiktok Dance Challenge Competition – 6 participants
Calamansi Eating Contest – 6 participants
Arm Wrestling – 1 participant

Other categories were Chess, Message Relay, and Hula-Hoop Relay.
