The Human Resources Management Office (HRMO) of LGU Bauang hosted the traditional Monday flag-raising ceremony on July 22, 2024. The event emphasized the importance of values formation, focusing on Commitment to Democracy, discussed by Sangguniang Bayan Member (SBM) Danilo P. Abuan.

The ceremony was attended by municipal officials, employees, and representatives from various line agencies. The HRMO presented their Accomplishment Report in an audio-visual presentation. The highlight of the event was the audio-visual presentation and awarding of recognition of Mutia Ti Bauang Maria Katrina Calica, who won Mutia Ti Kalikasan at the recently held Mutia Ti La Union.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) was awarded recognition for their recent successful apprehension of suspected offender in the shooting incident at Brgy. Dili. Ms. Jema Gamer was awarded recognition for bagging 2nd Runner Up in the Mindanao Tapestry, The Tennun Pakaradjaan Fashion Designers Competition last May 11, 2024. The Municipal Agriculture Office (MAGO), led by Municipal Department Head (MGDH) Dr. Leodivico Verzola, was awarded recognition for their exceptional performance as Bauang has bagged one of the Top-Notcher awards in the distribution of rice inputs and encoding of recipients in the Rice Seed Monitoring System (RSMS) at Region I.

Finally, Municipal Mayor De Guzman delivered his inspirational message about our Commitment to Democracy, emphasizing that since the elections are approaching, we shouldn’t be political in our speeches and daily treatments, as we are still the incumbent officers. He also reminded everyone to maintain professionalism, to never talk behind anyone’s back, as he himself never does that.
