In preparation for the Love Biodiversity Project, a special meeting was held last July 4, 2024 at the Farmers Hall, Municipal Building with regard to the Bauang Bakawan Eco-Tourism Park. It was headed by Municipal Mayor Eulogio Clarence Martin P. De Guzman III.

It was attended by the Bakawan Committee, namely, the Municipal Administrator Ms. Daisy A. Sayangda, Administrator for Operations Mr. Wilson Samuel C. Caluza, Municipal Mayor’s Office (MMO), Municipal Information and Tourism Office (MITO), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Municipal Engineering Office (MEO), other Municipal heads and staff, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).

The Love Biodiversity is a Project led by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and will be held on July 15, 2024 at the Bauang Bakawan Eco-Tourism Park.
