In a significant initiative to promote health and wellness among its workforce, the Municipality of Bauang, under the leadership of Mayor Eulogio Clarence Martin P. De Guzman III, conducted a Non-Communicable Disease Risk Screening for municipal employees. This event, held at the Farmers’ Hall, was a collaborative effort with the Rural Health Unit of Bauang, led by Municipal Health Officer Dr. Erwill O. Nunan.

The health screening aimed to monitor vital health indicators such as blood pressure, uric acid, glucose, and cholesterol levels among the employees. Additionally, a urine screening was conducted to provide a comprehensive overview of each participant’s health status. The event also offered free medical checkups and medications, ensuring that immediate medical concerns were addressed promptly.

As the Municipality of Bauang continues to prioritize the health of its workforce, plans for regular health screenings and other wellness programs are underway, ensuring that employees receive continuous support in maintaining their health.
