The Municipality of Bauang, under the leadership of Mayor Ma. Clarissa “Manang Bong” T. Lee, through the Municipal Health Office and the Commission on Population Office, successfully conducted the Adolescent Health Development Program Orientation under Project R.A.I.S.E. RH (Responsive Approach for an Integrated, Sustainable, and Effective Reproductive Health) on June 8, 2026, at the Farmers’ Hall, Bauang, La Union.

SK President Rich Carlo A. Barnachea welcomed the Barangay Population Volunteers and SK Chairpersons from all 39 barangays. The event was graced by Acting Mayor Hon. Tanya Roberta De Guzman and SBM Ryan Andre Estigoy, who expressed their utmost support for the program.

The activity aimed to orient the participants on the components of the program and equip them with the necessary requirements for the certification of the Barangay Health Stations in Bauang as Level 1 Adolescent-Friendly Health Facilities.

Lectures on the Philippine Development Plan of Action, Teenage Pregnancy, Nutrition Education, STI/HIV/AIDS, Mental Health, and Solid Waste Management were delivered by the Provincial Health Office Program Manager, RHU Program Coordinators, and MENRO staff.
