A total of 170 scholars under the Bauang Educational Financial Assistance and Scholarship Program received their financial support on May 18, 2026, during a distribution activity held at the Farmers’ Hall, Municipal Building.

The program aims to provide educational assistance to deserving students and help ease the financial burden of scholars and their families. Through this initiative, the Local Government Unit of Bauang continues to strengthen its commitment to support students in their educational journey and ensuring that opportunities for learning remain accessible.

Present during the activity were Mayor Ma. Clarissa “Manang Bong” T. Lee, Vice Mayor Tanya Roberta A. De Guzman, SBM Ryan Andre M. Estigoy, and SBM Gabriel A. Sotto, who delivered inspirational and encouraging messages to the scholars. In their messages, they motivated the students to continue pursuing their dreams, remain dedicated to their studies, and make the most of the opportunities provided to them through education.

Under the leadership of Mayor Ma. Clarissa “Manang Bong” T. Lee, Vice Mayor Tanya Roberta A. De Guzman and the Members of Sangguniang Bayan, the Municipality of Bauang remains steadfast in implementing programs and initiatives that support education and empower the next generation toward a brighter future.
